Working With Salesforce and Constant Contact

As part of my role here at Cazoomi, I setup some of the systems like Salesforce.com and Constant Contact from the perspective of a small business owner. I wanted to see how they worked in real time (as opposed to just reading a write up about their service).

What I can say about Salesforce.com is that it is really a good way to keep track of your contact and sales records. The instructions are clear, precise and won’t leave you in doubt about how you should work the system to keep track of your leads, convert them and then monitor the account records for future sales and marketing activities. If you know how to follow instructions step by step then you can work with Salesforce.com to your small business advantage.

For Constant Contact, it is actually quite a fun way to write, design and launch an email campaign. I’m not surprised that Constant Contact is quite popular right now because it is so much fun to create emails then send them to your own lists of subscribers. I bet there are a lot of satisfied clients out there who are glad they chose Constant Contact to launch their campaigns. Definitely a must-repeat experience as far as I’m concerned.

The only drawback I encountered is that I was able to sync my Salesforce with my Constant Contact with just some minor hurdles. I’ll keep trying to sync these two efficiently as I’d really like to see how SyncApps can make these two systems more powerful and more helpful to the clients that choose that particular Sync Profile.
