Hi there! It’s that time of the quarter again — the time when we bring good news about the most recent updates to the SyncApps platform. If you’re a regular on our blog, then you must already know about some of them. If not, buckle up, you’re in for a ride!
We started 2021 full of hope — both for ourselves and for our subscribers. All the studies, research reports, and experts said that 2021 would be a better year for every industry. To be fair, 2020 wasn’t a hard year to top. Thus far, 2021 kept up its end of the deal for the better part of the world.
You can already see restrictions being lifted and entrepreneurs breathing slightly easier. Yes, we know that we can’t fully put the pandemic behind us yet, but our hopes seem more realistic now.
In the digital marketing and integration space aka our home turf, we’ve seen a lot of interesting stuff:
What does this mean for you, the SyncApps subscriber? It’s good news! Our massive influx of new subscribers came with an additional boost of inspiration. We added new features and enhanced existing ones to meet two new goals:
Curious how all this flows together? Grab a cup of tea (or a glass of wine, we don’t judge!) and let’s take a look at the newest features and enhancements SyncApps subscribers enjoy.
Got your contacts spread across several Mailchimp Audiences?
With this new feature, you can now choose which Main Audience to sync. This way, you can have better targeting and perfect order in your lists and audiences.

Selecting this feature helps you automatically update Lists in Constant Contact every time there are changes in your Marketing Lists from Salesforce.
With the quick removal of lists, you can save both time and money with a single click. Told you we’re all about taking care of ROI, remember?
Please note that using this feature will delete the record from all Lists in Constant Contact. If this feature is not selected then the Full Sync will just remove the records from Constant Contact Lists that are being synced, not any others as the contact is not fully removed from Constant Contact.
By popular demand, you can now edit the account name field in the Contact record in addition to creating affiliations.
You need Salesforce household accounts for every individual contact in your system, right? Well, we’ve noticed that a lot of our subscribers who are powered by Salesforce also want the ‘Companies’ their contacts are associated with only in the affiliation records.
So we obliged.
Right now, there’s no need to map the Company name in Constant Contact or Mailchimp to the Account name in Salesforce. All you have to do is create an Affiliation record in Salesforce between the Contact and the Company.
When enabled, SyncApps will create an Organization Affiliation based on the Company name from Constant Contact. This will create a Household Account with the Company from Constant Contact as affiliation only. This is only applicable to Salesforce’s NPSP version of their software.
Sync Campaign Response to all matching records (by email) in Salesforce
The inspiration for this upgrade came from our subscribers in the real estate business.
With this new feature, your team can manage the same contacts without having access to the other real estate broker’s Salesforce notes. Yet, they can still have access to all marketing campaigns sent to the customer. This way, your brokers compete for sales using the CRM. As soon as a broker closes a sale, the lead becomes their very own customer, that no other broker has access to.
Can we get a hooray for both healthy competition in sales and collaborative work in marketing?

Salesforce/Zoho CRM/NetSuite/Dynamics 365 users can now enjoy real-time updates from ActiveCampaign Marketing or Sales outreach. You no longer need to waste time bothering your colleagues or hunting down data to support your Sales or end-of-month activities.

This is another feature that made it to your dashboard because of popular demand. You can now retrieve affiliated contacts even if Person Accounts are enabled on the subscriber’s Salesforce account.

Don’t want to mix things up too much and use NetSuite for support tasks? We’ve got you covered.
If you don’t use NetSuite Support at all, just select these features. It will ignore Support Case Fields if the feature in Step 1 “Do not sync Zendesk tickets” mode is selected.
It’s that easy! We’re all for integrating as many of your activities as possible, but we also know that some things have to stay separate. Your business, your call — you can now customize the way you approach support easily.
Sync NetSuite Customer as a company and Contact company for ActiveCampaign, and you wanted to sync Territory fields to relate to a contact’s company? You’ve got it!
Now SyncApps exposes Territory Fields for the Contact Object in NetSuite.
What’s in it for you?
This additional field mapping option helps sales team managers stay on top of their team’s performance and division of territories. It’s ideal for companies with multiple branches or for companies that divide territories between agents.
That’s all for the first quarter of 2021. As always, if you have any suggestions for us, we’re happy to discuss them, so leave us a message anytime. Your feature or integration request might appear in the next quarter’s round-up!
In the meantime, if you haven’t tested SyncApps yet, there is no better time than the present. Sign up for FREE, we won’t even ask for your credit card number, so what have you got to lose?
